I've paid the first installment on a 1 bedroom apartment in the marina, and I don't even live there. I will be moving out to Dubai in the coming months, so I'm taking a risk. There is risk in every investment or business. You'll get people spending all day talking about the dangers of this and that,...

Hi, From what I understand my highest (university) educational certificate has to be attested/legalised. The UAE embassy has informed the following steps should be taken- 1) certificates signed by a solicitor 2) legalised by the Foreign Commenwealth Office (in London) 3) processed by the UAE embassy...

salary vs London?

I know salary depends on many factors including age, experience, education etc. However, do you think I should expect, less, equal or more than I am currently on in London?

Cheers

The job is with the Dubai Mercantile Exchange in the DIFC, in Futures & Options. I have a degree, 5 industry qualifications, 7 years experience and am a British national. I very much doubt you will be able to give me an idea of salary, as currently Dubai does not have this sort of industry yet. ...

Thanks dbxsoul, very thorough reply! Good to know...no offence, but not really interested in becoming an UAE citizen! 30,000 AED a year? That is less than £400 a month. Dubai is not a third world.

30,000 AED a month would be fantastic.

It's a total con. The guy has made hundreds, if not thousands of £s.

I have seen those pics somewhere else on the net. He has just got a hold of the pics, made up this story, and people have fallen for it.

I'm sure that I don't really need to explain this to anyone, but it's not that easy to make millions in the FOREX market. Yes, some people have made a lot of money, and some have lost a lot. Don't fall for the marketing pitch.

Have a go if you want, but know your limits.

Whatever you decide to do, I would advise against trying to play the market as advertised by the ocassionally new member on this site, such as hemufx-
