Small dunes are ok, but you cannot stop or you might not make it out. Even cars can do gravel. So what is the minimum specs for my requirements? Low-gear? XX litre? I'm totally noob with 4x4. If I knew about cars, I could have bought used but with better specs. You'll have to get a 4x4 with at leas...

It is not 5% for all cars. Civics are at 4% or lower, Lumina SS is 6% to 10%. Also rates are higher if you are under 25, or choose a V6 or V8.

I think there is a practical point behind this mysterious sand colour paint on most Saudi plated cars (especially Jeeps)... I think its some kind of anti- chipping protector...when they drive fast on the long barren desert roads towards the UAE, it protects the Glass of the Front Lights and the pai...

You are in trouble my friend. New rules dictate Dubai visa holders have to take lessons and get a Dubai license. Assuming you don't have a license from a Western country already, you are screwed if you stay in AD with a Dubai visa!

I will track down the stores that I owe money to, thats for sure. Well, you will still have higher expenses all round. You will save less. And coming from Saudi, a lot of things go on here, in terms of clothing and hotel bars, that you might find offensive, if you are of that mindset. But its easy to live with that by ignoring it. Traffic is a biznatch too.
