Appreciate that analysis on rental yield, but you haven't taken into account the uplift from leverage, if you can access debt at say 6% and you are getting a yield of 8+% from rental, then your equity return is boosted by the spread thus could potentially reach 12+% (depending on the gearing of coz...

As long as you are not struggling just thank your stars and be content with what you have. Bare in mind you are pretty much a fresh grad (hard to get your foot in the door with that here) and are still pulling in a decent number over people who have been here awhile.

All depends on the service provider chocs. Also, for post paid if its under a corporate account you don't have to put down the 2k deposit for roaming - just call to activate.

No, no I was referring to the service provider you pick up whilst roaming with regards to your sms services.

Yeah, its common to have gps/tv - most beemers have a tv tuner installed. It picks up free-to-air signals - I get about 6 channels, but once the car goes faster than 5kms/hr it will show a blank warning screen with only the sound remaining.

That was a top review V man or should we just call you "6"? The only point I'd argue is that I wouldn't agree 750 dhs is considered "expensive" for servicing - not by a long shot. Personally I quite like the 6, usually rent one when my car is in the shop and no complaints - great...

Depends on whether the driver knows what he's doing. You can drive a car passionately without driving it to the ground. I just happen to know that this particular offering has had a hard life. Poor thing.

You need to put your name on a (very) long waiting list. I wouldn't bother subletting off other people, not only cause you will get ripped off but cause if you get found out you'll be booted out fairly quickly and have a lot of hassles to deal with.

All BMWs since 2005 (excluding M series) carry 2 year warranty (3rd year is unwritten 'goodwill' warranty) as well as 5 year maintenance / service contract - even brakes are covered so you basically only pay for tyres. Both of these are also transferrable upon sale of vehicle to the new owner.

I would firmly keep all lines of communication via a documentable process - ie. emails, faxes, letters (if u must) and the like. Nothing over the phone, or a 'friendly chat' but if you must then make sure you send an email to confirm what was discussed / events occured to keep a record of it.

Yes, as of 1st of Jan this year they allow only 30 days from entry, although through out Jan they were still stamping people's passports with 60 days when they were only putting 30 into the system.
