Does BMW really provide 5 years free service and warrenty Jun 21, 2008
Hi, I am interested to buy BMW since i am a merc lover and driving since last 4 years. gargash and emc really charge too much for service and parts.

I heard from frnds that BMW provide 5 years free service +parts and warranty. Is it really true, Do they have any extra charges and whats difference between Merc and bmw in the sense of maintenance?

Is it more expensive to maintain bmw than of Merc?

All BMWs since 2005 (excluding M series) carry 2 year warranty (3rd year is unwritten 'goodwill' warranty) as well as 5 year maintenance / service contract - even brakes are covered so you basically only pay for tyres. Both of these are also transferrable upon sale of vehicle to the new owner.
