Work Visa, Resident Visa?? Nov 01, 2009
Hey, I'm quite a newbee here , and I'm looking to move to Dubai to work - but I have yet to find work.. (by the way I'm Norwegian citezen) however, I am co-owver of freehold property in Dubai(currently renting it out), will that entitle me to a resdency visa? (not yet reg. with land dep.)+ ongoing developments yet not built in dubai.. I see it states here that Norwegians gets 30 days, and I notice by my latest travels that you get 30 days, but do norwegaians get to renew their stay by fee?? ie. if If I were to move down and look for a job.. in stead of going back and forth?? Would be very grateful for any feedback, Thank you.

Norwegians can renew visa every 30 days by doing a visa run to Hatta repeatedly. Cheap or free. Or renew (only once) at DNRD for 500 or 600 dhs.

Property owners can get 6 month multi-entry renewable visa. Expensive and probably not a proper residence visa. If it applies to jointly owned properties it's the first named owner (but might only apply to sole-ownership). If not registered with DLD then I doubt you can get visa anyway.
