My Car is stolen(Honda Accord, Model 2007,color black) from Sharjah Rolla area yesterday evening time.I just parked my car without turning off the engine and entered in a grocery for some refreshments but when came back,the care wasn't there.I ran & searched all the surrounding places but no luck.The issue is already reported to the police.

I accept my mistake and its a life time lesson for me to take care of my stuff....

Please if anyone can provide any kind of information/advice/suggest anything to recover the lost car.
I am trying all possible ways to inform/contact as many peoples as i can to share the news and take their suggestions.

Your suggestions/comments will keep me hopeful and won't let me down.

ahmeed80 , what is the registration number, there are many Black Accords...

Don't leave your car with the keys in, it can happen.

I wouldn't leave my keys in my car anywhere, not even in Dubai! That's just tempting fate.

I hope you get your car back, or that it was insured. Don't tell them you left the keys in it when you make a claim though. You will have to tell a big fib.

His car's already stolen so its a bit late in the day to advise him not to leave the keys in it.

I think the Police would be the right people to find out where your car would have been taken. Usually, I think they break it down and sell the parts. Hope you get it before that happens!

Andyba , all the documents were also inside and lost as well.But is there anyway to find it through registration no.?

Actually my advice was for DFT, I presume you will know what to do next time. I hope you manage to get your possesions back.

No, insurance won't pay out on that, because it's his fault it got nicked in the first place. NEver EVER leave your car/house/flat unlocked or with valuables on display. I hope you reported it to the police. I'd would have said that because its a Honda Accord, the best you can hope for is that whoever pinched it would torch the flaming thing, so you could claim on insurance - but you won't even be able to do that.

If I was him I wouldn't mention the keys on the insurance claim.

erm people don't just break into cars in the UAE, especially not cars like that. So it's going to be pretty hard to come up with a convincing story. Plus he'll have to report it to the police before he can even go to the insurance company.

He's already reported it to the Police Chocs. he said so in the OP.

If they have the documents its really bad. I don't know how things are in UAE, but in some countries if you have the documents you can cross the borders with the car even if the documents are not on your name.

sorry to hear about your car but it happened twice on a colleague and one acquaintance. 1 in sharjah and 1 in dubai, both cars were eventually found bu badly damaged as police reports claimed it was driven on rough roads. probably by teenagers just having fun with the car
