Robert Spencer and Moustafa Zayed debate Jan 30, 2011
The debate was whether Muhammad taught Muslims to attack against and subjugate non-Muslims.

Spencer argued in the affirmative and quoted Hadith and verses from the Koran to show that Muslims have been instructed wage warfare against non-believers.

The commentaries and teachings Spencer cites in the debate show that Islamic imperialism traces its lineage down to the time Muhammad ordered his minions to raid peaceful Christian tribes in far off regions of what is now Yemen and Allah revealed to Muhammad orders for Muslims to attack non-Muslims for the purpose of making non-believers feel subdued as punishment for being a non-believer and for the implementation of Islamic law.

Over all, a good (though lengthy - 86 minutes) debate. Spencer dominated throughout and spoke eloquently on some of the questions broached by callers during the second half.
