I'm close to my test date now - am waiting to find out when it will be. Only a few more driving lessons left. I took the full package of driving lessons since I was technically considered a beginner. I can say that I am already a much better driver than about 70% of the people currently on the road...

What I also noticed is that we have to pay for parking Saturday thru Thursdays 8:00 - 13:00 and from 16:00 to 21:00. I thought before the change in the weekend, that we did not have to pay on PM Thursdays, is this correct?

what you worried about, its a damn rental. Call the cops, get them to fill out a Accident report. You should get the green form, as it was not your fault, then take it to the rental company, hand in the car and the green form and walk away. Also, call the rental company and tell them what happened.

Yup, we have Dentmaster now here in the UAE, also, one or two shops here now specialise in rim repairs etc, not sure what the cost is mind you. I did hear that Dentmaster charge something like Dhs400 or 600 per panel, irrespective of the number of dents. Also, rim repairs are something like Dhs150 p...
