Stylin, You've made some interesting observations but I don't think the issues you raise are necessarily interrelated. For example you state that the UAE has an abundance of natural resources as opposed to Taiwan. Besides oil, the UAE is actually missing natural resources such a fresh water sources...

I live here and have an account here in Taiwan so it is quite easy. I like Hong-Kong more though and have an account with HSBC for trading in Hong-Kong. More people means more money and aisa has a lot of people.

I prefer Dubai over India as a place to live but their laws have a long ways to go and are not getting any better. This latest law is another problem as it is available only to loca Emirati Nationals which is another discrimination Law:

Uhhh no... Etisalat should be prosecuted for their criminal actions. This probably falls under hacking and fraud. Not that that'll actually happen seeing as Etisalat *is* the government. +1000 LOL.. Compensate?? Locals don't compensate anyone let alone pay what was ordered in their local courts.
