Re: Are The Syrians Capable Of Regime Change?

I think Bashar will be able to keep central power in Damascus, while the rest of the country will be divided and controlled according to ethic/religous groups. It will be a long war of attrition. Contrary to Libya, Tunesia and Egypt the Syrian civil war/uprising has more layers to it. The first one ...

Re: Moral Behavior In Animals

Reptiles respond to outside dangers with fight or flight. Big lizards fighting over terrority fits that respons. You can also notice this with humans, the more they feel endangered (in their existence), the more they go to their primitive reptilian brain (the amygdala), and only two reponses are lef...

Yes I watched the video and donot consider two big lizards fighting over territory, be it hard or soft fighting, as altruism.

Re: Trivia. Did You Know That....

He is a great football player, but has an annoying appearance. I have seen some interviews with him and despite his appearance, he seems to be a decent bloke. I hate it when a team I am cheering for has to play against his team, because he is so good. If I had to choose between liking Chris or David...

Re: Breakfast.

I always thought every English person had beans on toast for breakfast. During the week one banana and two fruitkicks or sultana's. I usually take it with me on route to work. On Saturdays I like to have breakfast between 9am and 10am at a chain store voor one Euro. They have an egg/bacon sandwitch,...

I think so, yes. The importance of Aleppo is overestimated IMO. His father based his rule on a big part on the support he got from Aleppo. With using brute force shown the last months, the support of merchants is not a necessaity, like we see right now also in Iran.

Mr Bean is upset

I am not a big fan of him, but sympathize with him on this one. The Blackadder and Mr Bean star criticised the ‘new intolerance’ behind controversial legislation which outlaws ‘insulting words and behaviour’. Launching a fight for part of the Public Order Act to be repealed, he said it was having a ...

I am afraid people who do enjoy watching this, are reluctant to answer your question.

Oh, and we can expect that these deaths will be counted as civilian death because of Israeli fire by the liers and cheaters.

Mosques congratulate Hamas.

"We congratulate you with this courageous action".

What kind of people consider blowing up a bus courageous?

Hamas TV calls this a "natural reaction". I have reacted on this before, but for what kind of people, is blowing up others "NATURAL"?
