Saving Account

Hi All,
Any suggestion for a reliable bank with sound interest rate for saving account ?

If your goal is to save as much as possible whilst in Dubai and then bail out, HSBC have a savings plan which pays about 6% I think.
I assume that there are conditions wrt minimum monthly instalments etc but I don't know exactly because I spend all of my salary and don't have one of these accounts.

hahahaha, Benwj, sadly you're not alone, interestingly (2/3rds) 67% of expats go home with no more money then they came with (stat from gulf news about 6 months ago)

HSBC for 6% is the best for a savings account I've found, you need to do everything on the internet and I think the min is 5k,

Only fixed deposit can give you some interests.
Unless your savings is millions of Dirhams, it's not worth it to expect interests from only savings account, which normally only around 1%/pa (and that would be paid every quarter/half year!).
