I am in i have driven at the autodrome before and man is it fun .

but i have a better suggestion. i would like to cover the complete race and post the photographs on the website that i work for if you people dont mind. rather take a video and compile a CD for everyone whos interested?? i have done this before for Albabworld go kart challenge that happened at autodrome and wanna do it again.

i am being open bout it i need to generate hits to my website. but if you people dont agree i will just be there as a participant:)

Jerry your website is interesting and the layout is great...except for that annoying banner that scrolls down everywhere

its the table causing problem. i am gonna get that sorted out, on 800X600 it scrolls on the text but on 1024X768 it works fine. thanks for the complement, its gonna get bigger and better with loads of information and gifts to win from time to time:)

Really wish I could be there for it, but I doubt I'll be in Dubai then. Gees, and I'm a real racing aficionado (get it from my dad - he used to be a proper racing driver unlike us amateurs!!).

Concord - as for getting hurt at golf, well I've played a few times and nearly got hurt!! In fact, I played last year and had a 6 foot birdie putt. I was just about to take my putt when a golf ball thudded on the ground about a foot away from me!! Talk about in shock - I 4 putted from there!!

No, no. The reference is that the "older one gets the smaller the balls".

The project that i work on is a sports and fitness portal. from time to time we cover events ( just started ) and post the pictures on the website for people to see and download if they want to. i dunno if it will work in this case coz on this forum most of the time people interact virtually and would mind coming in the open.

I am being open, i need hits to the website as its still in a early stage. the video wouldnt go on the website. i will compile it ,burn it on a cd and give it out to people who are interested.

i know its a long shot but still would love to do this.

Cheers for taking the time to clarify Jerry. I think you have hit the nail on the head with regards to the mind frame of some members. Not everyone is keen on having their picture posted on the internet but having said that I personally don't think 'action' pics where you show the competitors on the course would be an issue, as their faces will be covered by the helmet.

Videos you would have to pay attention to the scope of your distribution. Giving it out to people who are interested would not be ideal and I doubt members would be comfortable with that notion - same as releasing pics of the DF meeting to those who are unknown or did not attend.

This is only a representation of my views and please do not take it as anything more than this.

can i get a view from other members as well. as far as the video goes i guess i wouldnt do it. for the pictures would take action pics and ask people if they would like their pictures to go online if not then they wouldnt go on. In a racing gear no one would be able to identify whos who. and no names would go along with the pictures.
