BD starts eating the lobster sashimi style.

Anyone knows why the taxis here are divided into red, blue and green stripes on the roof?

They are all beige, with RTA signs and colored stripe on the roof top. It is the different color on the roof top which is confusing. But they are all Dubai cabs

By the way, what is the point of having a dry day? Isnt this a muslim country where alcohol is illegal anyway? By proclaiming a dry day is almost an indication that alcoholic drinking is perhaps, maybe, allowed (and i dont mean in restaurants or bars)??

They are not as bad. However to make reservation, the procedure is tedious. Took forever to get the reservation number and its something like over 10 digits !!!!

This took place over the weekend in one of the Burger King joints: Pointed to the picture on the menu and ordered an ice cream cone - there is only one kind. Vanilla flavour. (For anyone interested, its only for 1 dirh.) For a full 1 dirh I didnt expect anything more of course. :lol: Then the waitre...

It has the "marine antenna" on the roof of the car. Massive spot lights on the dashboard. Intercom radio (the sort just like the cop car on telly) near the steering wheel.
