Enough already!...

If you thought this thread was about complaining about posters - it is not. That cacophony is old... I am refering to the Chilean miners as "Heros". Granted it is a "feel good" story and thank god they survived. But "Heros" and all the hoopla about them, c'mon really. I...

Felt like having some Lebanese/"arabic" food last evening so we went to a certain restaurant. I sat in direct view of another table of 4. A couple in their early 30's - husband's back to me, accross the table was the wife, next to her was the maid (facing me) holding a noisey 1 year old. T...

Re: Enough Already!...

Anyone who is attracted to a job for the danger money and then complains when things get tough is not a hero. I think mining is a money maker but only for the mine owners. These people are paid very poor wages specially in Latin America and China. In China alone 2,600 miners have died so far this y...

drew, starting threads like this is ridculous! Seriously if people want to have a go at each other, then go start stuff in Fight Club - the open forum is not the place. I'm not b!tching...

But why would people bring 2, 3 and 4 year olds to a resort which is clearly not appropriate for a child. Just spent 3 nights at Bab Al Shams and there were quite a number of very small children (of course being cared for by maids...). I say: 1. Find a babysitter. 2. Go before you have children. 3. ...

Re: I'm not b!tching...

ok, back to our regular programming...

It is not the kiddies I mind; it's the parents -they should know better.

BTW, the majority of the kids were western!

I don't frequent resorts as I am a city person - I live in four cities.

Re: I'm Not B!tching...

Nothing wrong with taking kids to a resort, but they should be looked after by babysitters in the room with room service ordered, not running loose until late at night in the common areas and nice restaurants with romantic evening dining. If people want to complain about kids in the pools and commo...

Nutrition education has been around in the US for quite sometime, yet when it comes to stats, it as the highest rate of obesity, the majority being adults. There is the opposite of that view Ambassador, which is: why should adults be deprived of an enjoyable evening out or a weekend away without the presence of children? Works for me. Nothing wrong with that so long as it is not done in the same place where people who are considered hired a bab...
