Etisalat Caching server crashed or perhaps a big work attacked?? from Afternoon web is unimaginably slow..

its really a joke
We have called up Etislut @ abt 0200 pm and they told us a story abt a broken cable in Egypt.... assuming they may meant a seacable in the med sea if there are any

Its all true. I have heard the cable problem is affecting all of the middle east and traffic is slow due to satellite back bone use.

Its all true.. the undersea cables connecting the gateways have been broken and its causing huge losses amounting to millions of $$ all around the world. Apparently, the news channels report slow or no net connectivity in India, Egypt, Middle east and parts of US and UK.
Bad news is some of the Indian news channels reporting that some of the Indian net internet providers say that it may even take upto a week to fix the problem.
