My residency visa is will be expiring in few months time. I intend on taking a short vacation (not to home country). Some one was telling me that you cannot go anywhere apart from home country if you have less than six months left on your residence visa.
If someone else has experienced this please share.

I think they're getting confused with passport expiry. However, will you be back before your visa expires? If so, you'll be ok.

Thanks for the reply. My passport is valid for four more years so no issues there. I had heard from someone and just wanted to confirm. Dont want to plan and pay for my vacation and then find out at the airport that I cannot exit. Plus my PRO is saying there is still time for visa expiry so will not renew now.
