Man, usually I don't get out during the day but I took the day off today to prep for my next trip and it was cooking, Arnie and Coco more power to you but the next few months will make Fayz a sad camper who is going to go into hibernation mode.

you might feel it's getting warmer in the morning now.
Hot is much better than cold. I like hot weather but not very much, like up to 45 degrees. :(

I normally just go out for lunch from 1-3pm. it's pretty hot that a few hours a day. zzzzZZZZ Plus heavy traffic jam everywhere.

Yeah, we were tapping the temp gauge a few times when we came out of the foodcourt. It was bloody 45 degrees in JA at 1pm. Will be gladly taking a short summer vacation in a couple of months.

This is actually a 'blip' in the weather system. This is a combination of a high pressure system over Saudi and a low pressure system over Iran. This creates a funnel that is channelling hot winds from the desert into the coastal region. It is also very 'dry' air and the humidity is less than normal. It should revert back to the normal conditions we get at this time of year in a couple of days.

Absolutely agree with you-I can handle humidity, I can handle heat but together NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Funny, I thought desert and bone dry, not humid. :(

I can suffer the slingshots and arrows of outrageous misfortune! Fear not...I am impregnable to these petty attempts at ribald humour...
I always wanted to be a weatherman on tv...I even have the maps and things up on my bedroom wall and practice daily pointing at little smiley suns and pretty little white fluffy cloud icons!

Is it time for my medicine now doctor? Must I wear the white coat with the straps again?

you need to be "refreshing" (you will get it if you have seen the movie the weatherman) ..

As for seasons in Dubai i would say its two not four:

1) Summer (Nov-Apri)
2) Hell (May-Oct)

:D

and ya i have noticed traffic situation has been really bad this week.
