But still, it is better for them (cheaper + more designs) and better for all the freelancers.

the 15,000 doesn't really appeal to me.

I think i may throw a design together.

It's BS and it undermines the industry. Saying that, if I was over there I'd knock a logo or 2 off!

i am into most of graphic designing competitions, the last one i entered was giving out aed 50,000/- cash prize for a logo design and 40,000/- before that.
this one seems strange after i read the terms and conditions.... one of the condition says you should have a valid trade license or someone you know must.... i dont know anyone and even if i did i would have to convince the person by promising to share the prize money..SHEESH! 15000/- only and all that trouble not to mention the brain racking!...... this needs aloooot of time.

if someone from wild wadi is reading this...come on man 15000k for creativity!! that too for a logo design for such a major theme park..."creative people are highly under estimated"

"The competition is open only to holders of a valid Dubai Trade Licence. If you don't personally hold a licence, you can of course ask a valid licence holder such as an employer or an educational institution to enter on your behalf. But please note that if your entry reaches the final judging stages, the validity of the Trade Licence will be thoroughly checked."

Wow. It's like they are afraid to make an illegal transaction or something, because it probably isn't a proper competition registered with the Municipality.
