Hi , I am working in Dubai based company from last 8 months on a limited contract (3 years). Now I have decided to leave the job and go to my home country due to some personal reasons . After checking the labour laws I found that since I am revoking the contract I will be paying half my salary of 3 months to the employer as penality charges . My question is
1.Is the penality 45 days salary calculated on the basis of basic salary or gross .
2.If i am paying penality should I serve any notice period if my employer is asking me to do so .
3.When am i supposed to make the payment to the employer and what all should I take care of while making the payment and should i mention it in the resignation letter .
4.After accepting the resignation by them how long does it take to cancel the visa , I am scared if they will delay the cancellation process to make my exit difficult .
