Depends on the nature of your career, there are agents that specialise in IT others in HR and others in engineering.

Personally local recruitment agencies tend to offer mixed results and I would only give them between 10 and 20% chance of actually finding you a position. I.e. for every one or two people they place there are about eight other registered candidates that they will not be able to place or have the opportunity to place.

There is a also the direct approach, make a list of the companies that you'd like to work for, see if they have a local (ME) office and apply directly.

Better still is to come and visit Dubai with the intention of actively looking for a vacancy while you are here.

You will need an attested (UAE consulate in country of origin) higher educational qualification, preferably in the field you intend working in.
