Family Resident Visa - On Vacation

Family Resident Visa - On Vacation Sep 07, 2007
Hi Everyone.

I will be going to dubai soon with working visa. My family would join me later once I successfully settled there.

My question is...Once they joined me in Dubai and got a resident visa, then after sometime they'll be going for vacation in my home country, what sort of visa they'll be needing to exit and re-enter Dubai.

Because when we were in Saudi, we have also a resident permit there but every time they went for vacation they were required to get an exit-reentry visa with validity dependent on our resident permit there.

Is it the same in Dubai.

Thanks.

Where is your home country? Visa requirements are dependant upon the country your passport is issued from!

There is no need for an exit visa from the UAE (they are happy to see you go). Except if you are here illegally then they won't let you go (makes no sense but welcome to the UAE) unless you get amnesty (again a "reverse" concept). Whether or not they'll need an entry visit to wherever they will be going on vacation is another issue, etc...

Once you have your residence visa in Dubai/UAE you do not require an Exit re-entry visa to leave the country, you should note that you are allowed to stay out of the Country for a maximum of 6 months.

There's no requirement of exit & re-entry permit in UAE (and most of other countries).
Only in Saudi Arabia... because it's Saudi Arabia ;)

Thanks everyone for replying.

Special thanks to Sage & xty, I got the answer I'm looking from you guys.

Another question if you may answer please. If they are allowed to stay for 6 months outside UAE, is there a minimum reqmnt of stay in Dubai before they can go vacation again for 6 months.

Thanks.

Its S & O, and I certainly didn't repeat what you said, the guy was looking for information, I provided it, what you did was an attempt to confuse as usual.

You are indeed confused. While I do my best to help out, I'm afraid I can't help you. You were born so and will remain so.
