Re: Is Dubai an Isolated Incident?

No, Dubai is not an isolated incident. Its not an incident, because every smart investor could see that this building boom was unsustainable, but thuoght that the government would back all investments due to its vision and to avoid faceloss. A fallacy, in hindsight. The investment world won't forget...

Re: Dubai State of Affairs

So things are a little worse than that. Just a tip: Its not a very good idea to run down a person who owes you money before they have paid it back. Probably a better idea to wait until after they have paid it. Considerably worse that that...(note that your figures are both public (government) and p...

Re: Dubai Has Always Been Bankrupt -- Morally and Environmentall

I believe that is correct, in any case the guy is nothing but a common thief and he was lucky to have escaped dressed as a woman. A 'so called thief' that delivered private submar...

Re: Polish Government Crash - First Video Footage

That sirene you heard was the fire truck arriving near the scene, so rescue workers are probably not present yet as the video shows. Some of us in the West might mistake the sirene for a cargo train. In russia this sirene comes from the ZIL 157 firetruck. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bR3tgosAVNA A...

The sirena on emergency trucks in Russia sounds absolutely the same as everywhere in the world. Moreover ZIL 157, which was launched in 1958, is almost extinct even from Fire Departments. Regarding the horn/sirene of the firetruck. They sound quite different in this country. ;) Zil 157 extinct. LoL...
