Hi,

has anyone successfully configured exchange POP3 email using SSL on a Sony P1i using the Etisalat Data Package?

I can surf the internet using the Data Package no problem but I can't seem to get an SSL connection to my POP3 exchange side. I keep getting "Timed Out"

All the settings are fine. I've successfully tested the Nokia E90 and E61/E61i and they work flawlessly

Any help will be apprecaited

Hey soupie, dont you think that etisalat data package/gprs is charged too much. Y dont you opt for a BB

man.. thats the easy way out..

I wanna get the stupid data package working on the P1i.

BB and Nokia and Windows Mobile 6 are easy to configure and work fine with the Etisalat Data Package.. when it comes to configuring Exchange via SSL.

I wanna get it working on the P1i!!!!!

have you tried adding :443 in the end?
