Wat do you think of 'SIP Hosting' Concept.

To have an online based SIP Host, that will allow your friends & relatives to register & use IP Phones or PAP2 Devices , using domain names or redirections ?

why not just use the infrastrucure put out there by already existing providers ? its free anyway.

The benefit is with existing internet connection, you can speak for long with folks abroad + a factor of making a SIP / VOIP Community.

you can do that with Skype, Yahoo talk, MSN voice chat , etc..... i dont see why you want to buid your own infrastrucutre when its already available and free !?

I want to transfer the same system on a hardware based unit.

Like, for example, if you want to speak abroad frequently, you get a PAP2 unit & an internet connection & device is preset with your account.

Something like that.

overall, i want to build a hardware based structure rather than headset n mic

btw.. i want a buy a spare pap2 for ma experiments.

Anybody has 1 for sale ?
