Need to find a good Ballroom Dancing Class...Can any 1 help? Dec 03, 2008
Hi E'one,
I am new here and relatively new to Dubai. Looking to find a Ballroom
dancing class (ie. a class teaching jive, cha-cha-cha,waltz...etc.)
Couldnt find anything on the net. Did try out a swing class, but I kinda
found it difficult, ie. I found most students quite at ease with it, for me it
was totally new....
Can anyone suggest a place if they know one ? Not sure whether this is the forum to ask this, if not forgive and let me know where I should post
this.
Thanks a lot in advance...

Hi Yasrkasem,
Thanks very much for your response , which unfortunately I got to see only now :(
What does BNF stand for, DKV would stand for Dubai Knowledge Villiage ? I went to the site but couldnt locate these classes ?
Would appreciate if you could let me know details of ballroom dancing classes if you are aware of any, ie. one that teaches jive, cha-cha-cha, waltz besides others. Would like to go through these before I go for salsa and other latino dance. I would consider my self as a beginner since I have never really finished a ballroom class to the end...
my e-mail is miku@mailme.ae
Thanks very much in advance
Best Regards
p.s. I am unable to p.m. just yet (not enough posts by me upto now)

Hey Soni it's ground floor, Block 15 Knowledge Village.
That's the UOWD building. The opposite building Block 14 will be the main UOWD building with the reception.

I'll see if I can get you a number.

PS plz don't reply after a year

thanks people....you all are very NICE !.....some one else e-mailed me and said that the knowledge villiage classes were off for the summer until ramadan ? is this so MCL ? ( what a name ! your picture is good though : )
Yes please do get me a number...

and thanks Yasrkasem....your e-mail was helpful, but I have asked you a few q's on the classes if you dont mind....

I made a special pair of ballroom shoes for myself before I came to dubai in the ardent hope that I would get to join a class soon.....
And now, its well over a year and the shoes are still unworn....sigh....sigh....sigh....

hi Vicky2009,
tango class for 2 hours cost 50 for beginners and 60 for upper levels, salsa from 40 to 60 per hour in most places, other places give you private classes for 120 and up, other dances i have no idea but i think its all arround that cost.

Soni, i sent the mail to you hope it was helpfull.

cheers
