Dubai SIM card Oct 26, 2006
Hi,

How much does it cost to get a Dubai SIM card number?
I plan to buy a mobile number in Dubai upon my arrival, however I would need to travel a lot for work... would the mobile number still work when I am outside the UAE?

Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you,

Jolin

Its 165 Dhs (last I checked) and comes with 20 dhs of "free" time.

165 dhs = 43 US$

Yes, it will still work if you're outside UAE.

you need to be a resident for GSM (pst paid) but Wasel (pre-paid) you don't, you just need a passport copy with your visa copy (tourist is okay)

I'd say the bulk of people I know use Wasel

I did the math and it is cheaper to use Wasel than Post Paid!!

But because I'm getting an extra sim, I have to go down this route :?

I figure the same thing out but how does getting an exta sim make you go down that route?
