a 24 hour Road trip..

Kinda like a "Drive America" thing. We Drive/Leave one by one from a specific location where we all meet. We drive our own cars from Dubai to Abu Dhabi or Dubai to Hatta, camp out or stay a night in Abu Dhabi or Hatta and come back the next day.

A little different from Drive America.

Leave a Friday afternoon, come back Saturday afternoon.. Friday evening and night, we can always get something planned.

Lets see how many people say yes and we maybe able to plan something sometime in the first week or second week of December. Before Xmas so that it doesn't interfere with your Xmas plans

I had no idea stalking was such a serious thing here. Dubai sure has changed from what it was 10 years ago. I miss the Old Dubai

I’d be in, love camping.

I also know of rumored forum members that are currently in the process of acquiring a motorhome. If you can convince them to come you may have the toilet(s) covered hahahaha.

Or I shall fast for tow days.

The plan is still open, we can camp, or stay somewhere in Abu Dhabi or Hatta. Accommodation prices will be provided once we decide, if we decide to pursue this

I know plenty of people who just go camping ... this is the UAE ... the concept of permits is redundant here ... if you get one good for you, most people wouldn't care. Do bedouins that live in the deserts have camping permits for themselves and their camels?
