So beloved Mac bit the dust today and I switched to a PC. The PC is brand new and after navigating to the forum, without being logged in, I could not believe how hard it is to read. Ads are everywhere, hyperlink ads at the top, bottom and within posts. I have looked at the forum on my Mac without being logged in and it did not look that bad, but then I remember I had a great thing installed there called "Adblock", hence the ads were mostly curtailed. Logging in gets rid of the other ads. I know the site needs to generate a few sheckels for the owners, but WOW! With all the copy-paste link posting by Ambassador, those posts were impossible to navigate. Just sayin'

PS, when I replace the Mac, this new laptop will be fror sale. I bought it to do some programming for a client, but I am a Mac guy through and through.

I dunno maybe your just too used to seeing it without the advs. They don't seem to bother me much when browsing unlogged. Usually on most forums I visit if there are advs I'll click a few as it helps keeps that forum alive so really no biggie

P.S : As for the laptop. Christmas stockings were awfully empty this year, a late gift never hurts

No one is slipping out without first getting his court dirhams! And funny you mention it, but 'slip out" season starts in 2 weeks. I might do a trial run just for giggles. After a bit too many infidel juices the other night, I told a reporter-friend of mine about it. On a similar note, he asked if I would go "on the record" about my experiences here with court, visas, immigration, etc. I told him I would shout it from the rooftops. (after I get the settlement of course). Holy derailed topic.

No, BM. I mentioned months ago that there is a way easier way to pull a Herve. DDS just reminded me of it. I'm not going anywhere for a while, no worries. Besides, I can't leave my flat in the condition it is in. Will likely take 2 months to get the footprints off the ceiling and get rid of all the casino tables and disco lights.

I didn't take you for the seafaring type somehow! Becareful who you invite to those 80's disco nights DD, the LL wouldn't want the natives turning up looking for action after you've left I'm sure!
I wouldn't worry about those footprints on the ceiling as long as they are not flip flops!

After I followed zubber's advice for getting rid of unwanted images I can now read this forum better minus ads etc. My PC is dying and I'm getting a Mac next!
