MMS Settings for Nokia 3220 Jan 23, 2006

Hey there,
was wondering if some one could help me set up the mobile for using MMS in Dubai.

I registered my phone and got a configuration sms from etisalat. Unfortunately thats not helping me to connect to the internet or send an MMS.

I manually entered in information using whats in the following URL:
http://www.etisalat.ae/html/custom_info ... ttings.htm

Unforunately whats missing there is the Proxy Port Number that Etisalat uses. NB. The MMS Proxy IP Address is labeled: WAP Gateway IP address in the URL.

I never managed to get it to work on my phone and apparently you can only send MMS messages within the UAE, so a bit pointless really.

I think you can send MMS in the UAE, you just can't send them outside the country.

Oops, maybe just picture messages. My husband tried to send some phone camera pics out of the UAE and was told it isn't possible.
