But does it really give you a buzz? I heard that is why it is banned in Dubai, because it is a drug, was I mislead? I've seen people selling it on the street for something like 50 fils but I've never tried it.

its the ones that have the potent tobacco inside then that gives you the buzz...as it directly gets absorbed into your blood stream...the non tobacco ones are normal...aint nothing illegal inside them...except when people spit...now thats ing and thus banned...

add the slaked lime to the tobacco which gives a tingling sensation to your tongue and if you mess up the proportions, loss of sensation and burns as well

i made it clear that there are more demerits of indulging in this particualr habit than merits...thus i am just an innocent bystander who is showing a "newbie" (fayz/also halpless victim- cos he doesnt know what he is getting himself into)...the joys of biting into this highly "succulent" endevor...hope i made it a bit clearer
