Citroen are pants buddy. Even in the UK, they are almost given away cos no one wants them.

French Cars are considered rust buckets and flimsy and their resale value is crap.

I would defer with arnie on this one..... french cars have really evolved and offer some of the best of european technology. Drive one of them (peugeot, renault etc) and you will see what I mean - the ride, comfort, features are quite different.

Liban - check out the renault's as well..... they are apparently selling like hot cakes at the moment. Clio is good - fast and cheap.

If you really have to go French, then go for Peugeot and Renault. Basically, Citroen is seen as the cheap version of Peugeot (its the same company).

Gotcha! I gotta say that French cars are priced really good considering the packages the cars come with... VWs are much more pricey and they are really crap cars...

Liban,
Don't go for citroen, it might cost you cheap now, but you will pay later.

Also stay away from renault, you will give it away after a year or 2 max.

As you are going for french anyway, i would recommend to go for the 407,it is the best French car so far specially in Dubai weather.

It is not the best in class or near it, but it is still the best bet in the french collection.

be ready for minor electric hick ups and minor durability issues. but be safe and get yourself service contract.

Good luck anyway.

cheers
