Wanting to start a real small business in Dubai. Jun 01, 2005
Hi,
I'm from Singapore. I haven't much to spend, but I really would like to start a little food stall selling claypot noodles and chicken rice for the lunch crowd perhaps in a free zone; just want to live a simple life in Dubai. But I have no idea how to make the first move. Can anyone help?

Setting up a small foodstall in Dubai. Jun 01, 2005
Thanks for the encouragement. But I still need to know how to start up, roughly how much I'd need, how to get a visa to start a business, where I can rent a fairly inexpensive foodstall, etc. If anyone can help, with some answers, I'll be most thankful.

Go to the expat forum on the list (I am the mod there). One of my stickies gives a link to the Ministry of the Interior. Check it out, what you are looking for is in part there.
