HELP : Online Business in Dubai Jan 09, 2007
How do people receive payments from online businesses in the UAE ?

Im looking to provide credit card payments on my site....

Is there anything like Paypal which doesnt involve a lot of setup costs, and monthly charges ?

How is the proceeds from sales collected ? Cheque ? Direct Debit to my bank account...

Appreciate some help to a newbie...

Thanks

Paypal has recently included UAE for sending money ONLY, I think you should look for western union transfer and moneybookers & worldpay, however I am not sure about whether they support your country or not.

you may want to try stormpay.com they do not have set-up cost and the transaction fees are very minimal.

you have to use something called a 3rd party payment processing... some of the most popular and secure 3rd party payment processors are 2checkout and paypal, both of which offer various payout options through wire and cheques.

local banks also offer online merchant accounts for payment processing but those are likely to have higher charges than the ones mentioned above.
