Offer / Tax or no Tax Apr 16, 2005
Hello All,

I´m a new member on this forum after being offered a job in Dubai. Allthough I have a million questions, I´ve found a lot of anwsers on these forums. Thanx for that.

I have a few things that are not quite clear to me.

1-
I might be moving from Holland, does enyone have experience with this, mostly the Tax deal with Holland isn´t very clear. I was told to get a resident visa, to get out of paying tax :?: :?:

2-
Got an offer, looks nice. Housing etc included. Should I look for any specific smallprint?

If there´s anyone with tips for me, I´d be thankfull.

Thanx all !

residency Apr 21, 2005
well that's easy. you have to get a residency stamp from immigration to be able to work in the uae/ dubai

guess that makes you a resident.. (valid for 3 years before renewal) ... no tax!

i submitted a few hits on the rental issue in the question above, about contracts and rentals. worth having a look - i think
