Dear all,

Im an Irish gal who has recently arrived in Dubai and I am extremely keen to get into an event management position.

I have contacted quite a few agencies who have set me up with interviews but which so far, have amounted to nothing.

I have very good qualifications and experience and would really like any tips anyone can possibly give me about how to get further into this field in Dubai.

All advice, comments, tips gratefully received.

Start with the dubai media city directory under events (www.dmc.ae) and see if you can pass your resume or visit/call any of those.
