@mesh: Have you seen anybody here ending his/her post with:

THIS IS FROM A PROUD CHRISTIAN???????????

Remember: we are all human beeings

I think the German ruling party is called the Christian Democrat? Or is it the second largest party?

Dubai is a Muslim Emirate and the UAE is a Muslim country. This is what foreigners must remember after learning the fact that headscarves are banned in Western European countries like France and Germany's school.

The fact that these foreigners are even allowed to speak and discuss in foreign languages while engaging in their own lascivious, promiscuous, immoral, lewd and sinful activities is wrong and unjust. They should be shown the door if they don't adapt to Emirati customs and system.

I think religion as a whole should be 'banned'!

You should all be forced to become Jedi! The 'force' is where it's at!

Beware the Dark Side!

I have forsaken some of my Jedi powers in place of gaffer tape: It has a dark side, a light side, and it binds the universe together!!

True dat. I'll bet that if you ever met face-to-face with a non-Emirati who spoke or discussed things in languages other than Arabic, you'd let him have it!

That said, you might want to avoid mirrors from here on out. They shatter, and you could hurt your hand. Just trying to help.

It's hard to learn arabic here. I was taking lessons and would try to converse with my arabic friends and they would all talk to me in english, made it impossible.

Maybe they don't want foreigners to 'invade' their language and keep it to their privacy for as long as possible. :?
This keeps them up front when talking behind your back on the streets.

just kidding

Dear sweet Choco
The truth is that, your friends are a little bit selfish. They wanna practice their English at the expense of your desire to learn a different language. You should be assertive and tell them to help me out to learn Arabic. They’ll do it if they are true friends.

I am learning Chinese now, and I always make it clear to my Chinese friends when we get together that I need their help to learn Chinese.

Betting is another of Westerners' evil promiscuous, wanton and evil ways.

I would get rid of this scourge if I were you.

You conveniently left out the part about Westerners' promiscous, lascivious, lewd, drunken stupor filled behaviour. That's the gist of that post, mate.

While your advice on mirrors is valid in the West, maybe I have my own ways to deal with it.

Yawn! same old drivel.

Interesting how you only log on when no-one else is around. Do us a favour and don't bother at all.

Now, I have to go get ready for my poker game, with a glass of whiskey on the rocks.

On what exactly do you want answers?
On that bunch of mess you edited? 8)

No really, this might lighten you up a bit; This thread is a myth you said. This is what Wikipedia tells you about that;

A myth is a sacred narrative in the sense that it holds religious or spiritual significance for those who tell it, and it contributes to and expresses systems of thought and values.
Use of the term by scholars implies neither the truth nor the falseness of the narrative.
To the source culture (read: the basic souls), however, a myth by definition is "true," in that it embodies beliefs, concepts, and ways of questioning and making sense of the world.

In a way, be careful with what you say (rhimes)

Are you trying to say, you know everything?
Thats nonsense and you know that. Because its your business expertise doesn't mean your the best in the business.
Financial experts in Wallstreet also got paid enormous amounts of money for their 'expert' services to the economy... Look where the US economy stands nowadays! They know nothing!

You don't wanna go there...or do you want to be held accountable for every word you say? ....if so it shall be written...on DF

Bring it on Barney Rubble. I can punch a few words if ya like. I did pay for my knowledge and trust me...Wikipedia is respectable. 8)

So what? Let me quote you

That's what I am talking about mate.

And if you don't like upright, Islamic countries that abhor homosexual Western immoral hypocritical drunken stupor filled incestuous orgy, you are free to leave Dubai for your "miserable corner of the world".

Remember I replied thus

OK Las Vegas is Muslim owned too, isn't it?
