Is there anyone who's get his/her Dubai work visa recently? Oct 25, 2008
Hi to all,
I have faced such a big delay on issuing my entry permit, so I was going to ask for guides and helps.

My employer in Dubai has applied on September 14th (2 weeks before the Eid holidays) and we are still waiting for the visa (Entry permit).
I guess today was the 24rd business day.

I was going to ask, if there anybody who has read my question and could guide me?!

May I follow my visa process in the immigration office of dubai over the internet?

Do they answer about when the visa may come out?

Is there anyone who had applied before Ramadan and has get the visa recently?

I really need to know if it's either an special problem in my case or such a big delay for every one.
thanks for your time and warm answers.

I aint no PRO...

there wont be any delays for everyone...

It just really matters with your company.,
how fast they process it., and it could be done within 2 weeks or maybe before that ( i am not sure )...

check with your company and force them if you need it faster....

The company said to me that, the delay is because of your Iranian nationality,, and that's what He knows!
They are still waiting.

expats from certain countries are required to be cleared by the police before they can be issued with visa's. they check to see if you have any affiliations to political parties or banned organisations. this can take some time and it is not possible for the employer to try and speed the process up. i'm not saying this is the case in your instance, but it does happen. the process can normally be followed online, but only by the company, the employee (prospective employee) has no access to this information.

Thank you so much for the information.
I have had no affiliations to political parties or banned organisations.
but I am from Iran, My country's governments have affiliations to political parties and so on probably, and They have security problems every where in the world. Is it possible it is because of that?
In the other hand, every day I see so much investors who are coming with the residency from Iran to Dubai, They often buy homes in Dubai.
Is this security problem just for work visas?
It seems that they have not faced this problem.
