My mum sent it 3 weeks ago from Australia via air mail... and still it hasn't arrived!

I am the master with a knife when peeling oranges, but those plastic orange peelers that you get in Australia make even shorter work of an orange, as you know.

damn this must be stressful ian :P you couldnt find an orange peeler anywhere in the city ?

Now that you mention it - or saw some guy in the syrian hall at global village selling them, now you have to wait until next year

Really? I went to global village and didn't see anything, mind you, I don't think I checked out Syria because like Lebanon, it's usually just rubbish shoes and t-shirts.

have you tried getting a bicycle pump in Dubai....Its easier to get beer than a bike pump!

We take for granted what an amazing mail system we have in Australia.

The UAE has to have probably one of the worst (And most expensive).

This thread reminds me of a guy once upon a time looking for plastic scouring pads (or PSP's as they became to be know).
