The 29th day of Ramadan will be Thursday 11 Oct. if this is the last day (likely) then Eid will be Friday Saturday for the Private Sector, we await the Government announcement.

Ok lets say it falls on the Friday - does this make the Thursday and Friday dry
or if it falls on the Saturday is saturday dry?

Not being a concerned drinker - just have guests in town and need to plab activities :)

If you are new to the region you will just have to wait and see what transpires, it all depends on the spotting of the new moon.

Is it dry on the Eid? Hmm... have dinner reservations on saturday and would like to be able to have wine or champagne for the occasion. Crossing my fingers.

You work for a good one.

Our Company declared that the Eid Holiday would be Friday / Saturday if the last day of Ramadan was Thursday. So considering that we normally have a Friday / Saturday weekend, it's work as usual
