Souk Operating Times During Ramadan?

I heard from someone that the souks (gold souk, bur dubai souk and al karama) are only open from 10 am - 1 pm and 8 pm - 10 pm during Ramadan. Is this correct?

In the Gold Souk it really depends on the shops. most are open from 10-1 and 6-10. But some stay opened the whole day. The Souk itself doesn't close.
