Re - eating pork.

Yes, you are right about it being akin to you thinking about eating dog or dolphin, we have the same revulsion at the thought of eating pork or dog (but dolphin - not for me, I like sushi  )

The episode happened a long time ago and taught me a valuable lesson about not making assumptions about others or projecting my values onto another person. It made me think - I am not revolted or surprised that nonMuslims or Non-Jews ate pork, but I did project my Muslim view of Pork onto my Jewish friend.

I believe it made me a little more open minded and world wise - my values are my own and people are entitled to their own values. I have no more right to hold my values than they have to hold theirs.

Cheers,
Shafique
