An Egyptian court has convicted in absentia seven Egyptian Coptic Christians and a Florida-based American pastor, sentencing them to death on charges linked to an anti-Islam film that sparked riots in parts of the Muslim world.

No doubt this sentence has the full support of the cave dwellers; but all normal people roundly condemn and reject any criminal action against people over free speech, let alone when it's completely outside the jurisdiction of the nation passing out the death sentence.
When I first read the headline I had to do a quick double glance as I thought some religious nutters in Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan had issued the ruling. I guess Egypt is headed that direction; and quick.
