Protests banned in Egypt Mar 27, 2011
Egyptian recently voted on a referendum that Egypt's Christian minority opposed - because it would prevent changes to Egypt's constitution, including the amendment that Egypt is an Islamic state, along with the discriminatory laws enshrined in Egyptian law.

Copts planned on protesting the recent results but now the military junta and Muslim Brotherhood have made protests illegal.

Anyone who protests against the government can now be sentenced to one year in prison and/or fined $85,000. The bill still needs to be approved by Egypt's Supreme Council.

The people were.

That's why every action has already been known ahead of time.

It isn't really that hard to figure out most Egyptians could care less about individual liberty.
