A video was uploaded to youtube of a Palestinian Authority Mufti calling for the genocide of Jews posted by Palestinian Media Watch. Youtube took down the video because its content (promoting genocide, Jew hatred) was inappropriate to Youtube guidelines.

The video was posted on PMW's Youtube account which itself was suspended. While Youtube was correct to view the Mufti's speech as genocidal and hate filled, the irony was that the Youtube video served to highlight the extremist views of Palestinians.

It would be analogous to claiming a Holocaust museum ... promotes the Holocaust.

But Youtube's action confirms to anyone with common sense that the Palestinian speech was totally inappropriate. They, after all, took down the video on the basis that it promoted genocide (rather than the fact the clip highlighted hate speech in the Muslim world).

So, while Youtube doesn't have a whole lot of common sense in taking down the video, they rightly saw the speech of the Palestinian mufti as calling for genocide - as anyone with a working brain would.

The Mufti is under investigation now.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday ordered an investigation into the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Muhammad Ahmad Hussein, who called for the killing of Jews in a televised tirade last week.

The prime minister, who has asked Attorney-General Yehuda Weinstein to oversee the investigation, said at the weekly Cabinet meeting that the remarks made by the grand mufti, a representative of the Palestinian Authority, should be condemned by every nation in the world.

Public Diplomacy and Diaspora Affairs Minister Yuli Edelstein said that the fact that the mufti's remarks had been broadcast on Palestinian Authority television and posted on the official website of the Palestinian Authority was disturbing.

lol a bit stupid really, because "muslims" are not following majority of "islamic goals" so how they gonna do this one than lol

Doesn't mean Muslims don't want to follow their Islamic goal.
