The Obama administration on Tuesday gave a blistering review of remarks that Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi made almost three years ago about Jews and called for him to repudiate what it called unacceptable rhetoric.

It's like something out of the dark ages. I often think David Cameron talks some rubbish but it makes me realise how lucky I am to live in a civilised country.

One can only imagine the reaction from the goon squad if a Western leader had said what Morsi said about another religious group instead of Jews instead of the current silence.
