UAE Announces Eid Holidays

UAE announces Eid holidays Sep 17, 2009
The UAE’s Eid Al Fitr holiday will be from Sunday September 20 until Tuesday September 22 for the public sector.

Federal ministries and departments will observe the three-day holiday starting on September 20, state news agency WAM reported.

So we presume Sunday / Monday for the Private Sector?

Yes we all know how hard the public sector works thats why they deserve the extra holiday !

Yeah, some of them have to work till 2:30 PM and are only allowed a 2 hour lunch break, the poor souls.

Okay all this talk about time off is depressing me! I don't get any time off for Eid - boooooooooo!

they deserve extra holiday because they are very very busy! (sarcasm)
all matters are pushed to "after eid"!!!

happy eid everyone. kick back and breathe for a change. as for u choco, i really do hope ur kidding cos everyone deserves a couple of days off for eid :(
