Paddy and Murphy had a friend who died.
He’d always wanted to be buried at sea so Paddy and Murphy hired a rowing boat and rowed out to sea with the coffin.
A couple of miles out, Paddy told Murphy to jump in and see if it was deep enough.
Murphy jumped over and swam down and a minute later came back to the surface, out of breath.

‘Holy Mother!’ says Murphy, ‘it’s definitely deep enough! Pass the shovel’
