I had an email earlier, purporting to be from Google, telling me about the Google Profit kit. Since I have a lot of web-sites, I looked at it. It seemed genuine and had the opportunity to make money. I filled my name and address and used my wife's M ans S card to pay $1--95 cents to have a kit delivered.
When I clicked that to make the payment, AFTER giving card details, it went onto an OBSCURE NON-GOOGLE SITE !!
After the shock, I realised it was a SCAM. Watch out for this !!
We have put a stop on the M and S credit card. Although my wife tells me she only pays what is owed on purchases on it and she cannot be cleaned out.
Put "google profit kit" into Google and you will see several stories about this scam. Googletreasurechest.com are NOTHING to do with Google , but they are the scammers!!
