So what’s the statues of Dubai real estate prices ? going up or down ? I’m thinking of buying a 2 bedroom somewhere near SZR for personal use not investment wise by may , where can I check those prices ?

UAEKID, go for it. Even though you will not be buying a specific apartment for investment reasons - You might be interested in reading this. Dubai property prices will decline even more due to oversupply of residential and commercial properties. So basically, you will be buying an apartment in Dubai that will come with a very cheap price tag which wouldn't have been around in Dubai during the boom days or even before that.

Prices are predicted to drop a further 20% this year. My advice for what its worth is wait.

There are a scheduled 32,000 completions due onto the market this year and there will be no queues and very few buyers for any of them.
