There is a very good IP (Intellectual Property) lawyer based in Internet City. Dont have his details to hand but will pm them to you when I find them.

Make sure all physical materials, such as sheet music, if you use it, lyruc sheets etc, have the writers details and dates on them for a start. You probably have to pay to register the copyright of your music somewhere - google it.
